About The Project

STEAMscape for Sustainability is an Erasmus+ KA220-SCH Cooperation Partnership that unites six organizations from Czechia, Greece, Türkiye, Portugal, Ireland, and Latvia to reimagine the way students and educators engage with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This two-year project (October 2024 – September 2026) introduces interactive, game-based learning as a powerful tool to make STEAM subjects more engaging, inclusive, and relevant to real-world environmental challenges. By merging escape game methodologies with sustainability themes, students learn to solve complex problems such as climate change, energy efficiency, and responsible consumption in creative, hands-on ways.

Objectives
The project aims to:
Foster environmental awareness through STEAM-themed escape games based on SDGs 7, 12, and 13.
Increase students’ interest and participation in STEAM—especially among girls and underrepresented groups.
Empower teachers and school leaders through professional development workshops on digital learning and game-based education.
Develop a European network of innovative educators who exchange ideas, tools, and good practices.
Promote equity and inclusion in digital and environmental education across Europe.
